Laurel Weadick Laurel Weadick is the principal of Choices HR Outsourcing covering the New England area. She brings fifteen years of Human Resources experience within various industries including; consulting, services, manufacturing and high-tech. She has been a manager for the past ten years and was a key driver in partnering with management to add value to the businesses she has worked with. Her expertise includes Recruitment, Selection and Retention, Employment Law, Employee Relations, Compensation, Metrics, Training & Development, and Benefits. Laurel has become an expert in preparing companies to be in compliance with government regulation as well as ensuring that policies and procedures are being followed within HR departments. Her vast knowledge of Human Resources also spans the areas of Visa Processing and Immigration, legislations such as FLSA, ERISA/COBRA, HIPAA and Leave of Absences, ADA, Workman’s Comp, Employee Surveys, HR Budgets, and HR Information Systems. Laurel has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and is pursuing an MBA. She has had her PHR Certification since 2000 and is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management as well as the Northeast Human Resources Association. She is also certified in facilitating various soft skill trainings.
